Field Ethology
Field ethology is the scientific study of animal behavior in their natural environment. It is a tool for understanding the decision-making processes of animals in their natural habitats, as well as the evolutionary and physiological adaptations that have enabled them to survive in a variety of ecological conditions. Field ethology has a wide range of applications, from the conservation of endangered species to the development of artificial intelligence and robotics. It is also used to observe and document changes in the behavior of domestic animals, to develop animal-friendly animal husbandry, and to understand the dynamics of animal behavior in different ecosystems. Finally, field ethology can help us build constructive relationships with the natural world, providing insights into how to create more harmonious coexistence between humans and animals.
