Anthrozoology
Anthrozoology is the study of human-animal interactions and relationships. It is a multidisciplinary field of study that incorporates anthropology, psychology, sociology, ethology, and animal welfare to understand the mutual benefits between humans and animals. The research from anthrozoology can be used to help improve animal welfare, animal protection, and human wellbeing. Additionally, anthrozoology can help inform scientific research, healthcare, education, and therapy, as well as helping to inform policymaking.
