Quality of Life
Quality of life is a broad concept that assesses an individual's physical, emotional, social, and mental health. It seeks to measure how satisfied people are with their lives, focusing on the positive and negative aspects of their experiences. Quality of life has significant implications for individuals, groups, and societies, as it can be used to inform public policy, health care interventions, and social programs. Quality of life is particularly important in assessing outcomes of chronic conditions, allowing individuals and professionals to measure how well those living with chronic health issues are managing and responding to their condition and treatments. In addition, quality of life research can inform decisions about treatment and health behaviors, guiding individuals towards healthier and more fulfilling lives.
