Over Weight
Overweight is a condition wherein a person has too much body fat in relation to their body weight or height. The condition carries an increased risk of developing health issues such as type 2 diabetes, heart disease and stroke. To prevent or reduce the risk of developing health complications, it is important to maintain a healthy body weight through diet and exercise. Regular physical activity and healthy eating habits, such as increasing consumption of vegetables, fruits, and whole grains, reducing intake of sugary and fatty foods, and limiting alcohol consumption, can help to reduce excess body weight.
