Malnutrition

Malnutrition is a condition caused by an imbalance between the amount and type of food consumed and the body’s nutritional needs. It can lead to a range of health problems, such as weakened immunity, anemia, stunted growth, increased susceptibility to infections and even death. Malnutrition is a major public health concern and is particularly common in developing countries. It can be addressed through improved nutrition education, access to adequate food, and health care. Proper nutrition is essential to ensure healthy growth and development, improved immunity, and overall wellbeing.
