Family Therapy
Family therapy is a type of therapy that attempts to treat psychological issues in its entirety, rather than considering each individual family member independently. This approach focuses on the family unit as a whole, and on how its members interact and communicate with one another. It seeks to identify any patterns of behavior or communication that can be causing difficulty in family life, and to address these difficulties in order to improve the overall well-being of the family. By improving communication, trust, and relationships amongst family members, family therapy aims to reduce psychological distress and build stronger family relationships. It can be used as a preventative measure for people at risk for mental health issues, or it can be used to treat people with existing mental health issues.
