Eating Disorder Symptoms
Eating disorders are a group of mental health disorders characterized by an abnormal preoccupation with food, weight, and body shape. Symptoms may include persistent restrictive dieting, binge eating, and/or purging behaviors. These disorders have serious physical and psychological consequences, such as cardiovascular disease, electrolyte imbalances, and depression. Early identification and treatment can help people with eating disorders manage their symptoms and live healthy and productive lives.
