Oxidative Stress

Oxidative stress has emerged as an essential factor in the pathogenesis of COVID-19. Several natural antioxidants, such as vitamin C, vitamin E, and selenium, have been proposed to have potential benefits in reducing oxidative stress in COVID-19 patients. These antioxidants can be obtained from a balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables, legumes, and whole grains. Therefore, it is essential to identify and develop effective strategies to mitigate oxidative stress in COVID-19 patients. This can lead to improved patient outcomes, reduced healthcare costs, and a better understanding of the disease's mechanism.
