Dietary Supplements

International Journal of Coronaviruses is a scientific platform that publishes researches focused on the mitigation of the coronavirus pandemic. Dietary supplements have emerged as one of the most promising ways of boosting immunity, improving overall health, and preventing infections. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, every individual is advised to maintain a healthy diet and consider taking dietary supplements to boost immunity. Dietary supplements refer to vitamins, minerals, herbal supplements, and other natural products used to improve one's health. Several research studies have shown that dietary supplements can boost immunity and prevent infections by combating pathogens. Vitamins C, D, and E are known to support the immune system by stimulating the production of white blood cells, which are responsible for fighting infections. Herbal supplements are also becoming very popular because of their effectiveness in promoting health and fighting infections. For instance, ginger, garlic, Echinacea, and turmeric have been shown to have antiviral and antibacterial properties, making them suitable for preventing infections. Additionally, probiotics are gaining popularity as a dietary supplement because of their effectiveness in promoting gut health. In conclusion, dietary supplements play an essential role in maintaining good health and boosting immunity, which is crucial in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. It is, therefore, essential to include dietary supplements in one's diet to promote overall health and prevent infections. However, individuals should always consult with healthcare professionals before taking any supplements to avoid complications or adverse effects.
