Music Therapy
Music therapy is a therapeutic technique that uses music to improve physical, mental and social wellbeing. It can reduce stress, anxiety, depression, and even pain. Music therapy is often used to help people with disabilities, mental illness, and chronic disease. Music therapy can also be used to help improve communication, self-expression, and concentration, as well as as a form of therapy for those with language or speech-related difficulties. Music therapy has also been found to provide a range of benefits for those with dementia and Alzheimer's, as well as being an effective form of post-traumatic stress disorder treatment. Music therapy is an increasingly popular alternative form of healthcare, with practitioners around the world that are trained to provide music therapy services.
