Serology

Serology is a branch of medical science that investigates and diagnoses diseases through the study of blood serums. It involves detecting and analyzing antibodies, antigens, or other immune-mediated molecules in a serum sample. It gives rise to many important diagnostic tests, such as the detection of infectious diseases, autoimmune diseases, allergies, and even cancer. Serology is a powerful and reliable tool for disease diagnosis, and its accuracy and ease of use have made it one of the most widely-used diagnostic tests in medical practice.
