Recombinase Polymerase Amplification

Recombinase Polymerase Amplification (RPA) is a rapid and sensitive isothermal method of DNA amplification. It enables detection of extremely low amounts of target DNA by amplifying a region of interest. RPA also has a lower risk of false positives compared to similar methods of DNA amplification. Applications for RPA include diagnosis of infectious diseases, DNA fingerprinting for forensics, food safety and genotyping. Its specificity and sensitivity make it an attractive option for a wide range of applications.
