Protozoan Models
Protozoan models are microscopic organisms that provide valuable insight into human health and disease research. Protozoa are single-celled organisms found in water, soil, and other environments. By studying these organisms, researchers can gain important information on cellular structure, genetic regulation, and the molecular basis of disease. Protozoan models are used to study a range of diseases, including cancer, malaria, and parasitic infections. The unique characteristics of each organism mean they can be used to better understand the causes of and treatments for various illnesses. In addition, protozoan models can be used to test the safety and efficacy of new drugs before they are tested on humans.
