Immunoassay

Immunoassays are biochemical tests that measure the presence or concentration of proteins or other molecules in a sample by using antibodies that specifically react with the molecule in question. They are highly sensitive and specific, making them a key tool in the diagnosis, prognosis, and management of many diseases. They are widely used in laboratories for clinical, research, and forensic applications, as well as in biotechnology, agriculture, and environmental sciences. They are also used for drug testing and for quality control in the food and beverage industry. Immunoassays provide a fast, convenient, and cost-effective way to detect and quantify biological molecules and can be used in a variety of settings.
