Corynebacteria
Corynebacteria are rod-shaped bacteria found in a wide range of environments, including soil, water, and certain animals, including humans. They are important for medical and industrial processes as they are used in the production of food, beverages, vaccines, and other products. They have been used to produce a wide array of products, including biofuels, antibiotics, and pharmaceuticals. They also can be beneficial in bioremediation, where they are used to help clean up polluted sites. In addition, they are used in genetic engineering to create new varieties of plants or animals.
