Bac Cloning
Bac (Bacterial Artificial Chromosome) Cloning is a method of cloning large DNA fragments into bacteria. It is used to create and amplify gene libraries, for sequencing, for cloning genes of interest, and for in vivo expression studies. This method is a valuable tool for many areas of biomedical research as it can produce a large quantity of an individual gene or set of genes. Bac Cloning is also used in bioengineering and gene therapy, enabling genetic manipulation of bacteria and other organisms.
