Organismal Evolution
Organismal evolution is the process through which organisms change over time due to genetic alterations and environmental factors. It is the driving force behind the diversity and complexity of life on earth, both in the past and present. Organismal evolution is responsible for the emergence of new species and their adaptation to different environments. It has enabled organisms to survive and thrive in a variety of habitats, from the deep ocean to the highest mountain peaks. Understanding organismal evolution can provide insights into how species form, interact with their surroundings, and evolve in response to changes in their environment. Studying organismal evolution can also help us learn more about the history of life on earth, and the processes through which organisms become adapted to their environment.
