Gram Staining
Gram staining is a type of laboratory technique used by scientists to differentiate bacterial species based on the composition of their cell walls. It involves dyeing bacteria with special dyes and then examining the results under a microscope to determine the type of bacteria. Gram staining is an important tool used in clinical and research settings to identify and classify bacteria. It is used to help detect, diagnose, and treat bacterial infections, as well as to study the interactions between bacteria and other organisms. In addition, Gram staining can be used to assess antibiotic susceptibility and to determine the effectiveness of treatments.
