Gene and Protein Expression
Gene and protein expression are fundamental activities that control the development, growth and functioning of cells. Understanding gene and protein expression is essential to our understanding of the underlying processes involved in health and disease. Genes are regions of the genome that encode for proteins, and are the building blocks of an organism.
