Vertebrate Physiology

Vertebrate physiology is the scientific study of the functioning of the organs, tissues, and cells of vertebrates - animals with a backbone or spinal column - focusing on their life-sustaining activities. It is an important branch of biology that helps us to understand how the body works, and how its parts interact to maintain health and survival. Through research and experimentation, vertebrate physiology can be used to develop new treatments for diseases, improve animal welfare, and better understand the impact of environmental factors on living organisms.
