Vertebrae

Vertebrae are vertebrate bone structures that make up the backbone, providing structural support and allowing for movement. Vertebrae are also critical for the functioning of the body’s nervous system, as they house and protect the spinal cord. Vertebrae provide support for the movement of the head, neck and back, making them essential for body posture, balance and coordination. The vertebrae are also involved in various other bodily processes such as respiration, digestion and circulation. They are essential for our everyday activities, and when they do not function properly, a range of physical, mental and emotional issues can arise.
