Thrombosis

Thrombosis is the formation of a blood clot inside the circulatory system. It is a serious condition that can cause serious consequences, such as heart attack and stroke. Thrombosis can be caused by a variety of medical conditions including deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, and dissection of an artery. The signs and symptoms of thrombosis can include pain or swelling in the affected area, discoloration of the skin, and a feeling of warmth over the affected area. The treatment for thrombosis includes anticoagulant medications, thrombolytic therapy, and surgical interventions. Early diagnosis and treatment can be lifesaving and is essential to prevent further complications.
