Sports Science

Sports science is the study of how the healthy human body works during exercise, and how sport and physical activity promote health and performance. It encompasses a variety of disciplines, including anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, psychology and nutrition. By understanding the dynamics of sport, athletes and coaches can work together to improve performance and health, reduce injury, and enhance overall well-being. Sports science can also be used to better understand the causes and effects of extreme physical performance, and to assess the impact of physical activity on society.
