Spinal Stenosis

Spinal stenosis is a medical condition that is characterised by a narrowing of the protective spinal canal, causing compression of the spinal cord and nerve roots. It can lead to pain, numbness, tingling and weakness in the legs and arms, and can affect walking and balance. Treatment options include physical therapy and medications, as well as minimally invasive surgical procedures. Spinal stenosis can be a disabling condition with significant long-term effects, so early diagnosis and treatment are important for helping to manage symptoms and prevent further complications.
