Osteopathy
Osteopathy is a type of manual therapy which is based on the principle that the structure of the body has an effect on its functioning. It is a holistic approach to health which looks at the whole patient, not just the symptoms they present with. Osteopathy uses gentle, manipulative techniques to improve the mobility of joints, reduce and eliminate soft tissue irritation and strain, and improve the functioning of the body's systems. Osteopathy is used to treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including neck and back pain, headaches, sports injuries, postural imbalances and other joint pains. It can also be used for preventative healthcare, as it can help to keep the joints and muscles healthy, thus reducing the risk of future injury. Many people also report an improved sense of wellbeing as a result of treatments.
