Kinesiology

Kinesiology is the study of human movement and its biological, physiological, biomechanical, and psychological determinants. It is a multidisciplinary field that encompasses aspects of anatomy, biomechanics, psychology, physiotherapy, and physical education. Kinesiology has a wide range of applications in health, performance, and rehabilitation settings, ranging from injury rehabilitation to sports performance enhancement. It is increasingly being used to assess physical abilities and identify strategies for improving them, as well as for designing exercise and rehabilitation programs. Kinesiology has become an important tool for medical professionals and other practitioners to better understand human movement and optimize performance and health.
