Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation
Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation, or HSCT, is a medical procedure used to treat a wide range of life-threatening diseases, including blood cancers, autoimmune diseases and genetic disorders. HSCT involves the transfer of hematopoietic stem cells from a donor to a recipient, which then differentiate into different types of blood cells in the body and replace cells that have been destroyed due to disease or injury. This process is beneficial for many patients as it can provide a long-term remission of their disease and improve their quality of life. HSCT is an important medical breakthrough and is used around the world as an effective treatment for many diseases.
