Systolic Blood Pressure
Systolic blood pressure is the measuring of the pressure in the arteries when the heart beats and, along with diastolic blood pressure, is used to calculate an individual's blood pressure readings. A normal systolic blood pressure reading is typically below 120 mmHg. High systolic blood pressure readings increase the risk of stroke, heart attack, and other cardiovascular issues. It is essential to have regular systolic blood pressure checks and to maintain a healthy lifestyle to reduce the risk of developing cardiovascular issues.
