Leukemia Symptoms

Leukemia is a type of cancer which affects the blood and bone marrow, causing abnormal production of white blood cells. Symptoms of leukemia can vary depending on the type, but can include symptoms like fatigue, fever, shortness of breath, bruising or bleeding easily, swollen lymph nodes, and recurrent infections. If these symptoms are present, it is important to see a doctor for a diagnosis. Treatment for leukemia may include medications, radiation therapy, and/or chemotherapy. Early diagnosis and treatment are very important and can help improve survival rates and quality of life.
