Eosinophilia

Eosinophilia is a condition in which there is an increased level of eosinophils, a type of white blood cell, in the blood. It is commonly seen in people who have allergies or asthma and can also be caused by parasitic infections, certain drugs, and some types of cancer. Eosinophilia can lead to breathing difficulties, wheezing, itching, and other symptoms. Treatment may involve medications to reduce inflammation, antibiotics, or other therapies depending on the underlying cause. It is important to identify and treat eosinophilia properly to reduce the risk of further complications.
