Molecular Medicine
Molecular medicine is a field of medical science that uses advances in molecular biology, biochemistry, and genetics to understand and treat diseases. Its main focus is on understanding the molecular basis of disease so that better treatments and prevention strategies can be developed. The use of molecular medicine has dramatically increased the accuracy of diagnosis, improved the efficacy of treatment, and enabled the development of more precise, targeted therapies for a wide range of diseases. Molecular medicine is used in the diagnosis and treatment of cancers, metabolic diseases, neurological disorders, immunological disorders, genetic disorders, and infectious diseases. In addition, molecular medicine has the potential to create entirely new medical treatments, such as gene therapy and stem cell therapy, that are revolutionizing healthcare.
