Micro Biology
Microbiology is the study of microscopic organisms such as bacteria, fungi, viruses and protozoa. These microscopic organisms are of great significance as they are a major part of the ecosystem and play a role in many aspects of our health, from digestion and immunity, to the spread of infectious diseases. Microbiology has numerous uses, from identifying and controlling outbreaks of diseases, to producing food and medicines, to bioremediation and environmental conservation. Furthermore, advances in microbiology have been central in uncovering the causes of many human diseases, contributing substantially to the development of treatments and prevention methods.
