Bioanalysis
Bioanalysis is the application of analytical techniques for the purpose of quantifying and characterizing components of living organisms and the environment. It is used to study the composition and functions of biomolecules, cells and tissues to evaluate their interactions in health and disease. Bioanalysis is used in drug development, diagnostics, medical research, toxicology and biochemistry. It is an important tool in understanding the biological mechanism of diseases and drug effects, and is also used to monitor and improve the safety, efficacy and quality of medicines. Bioanalysis can also be applied to monitor environmental pollutants in order to protect public health.
