Sablefish
Sablefish, also known as black cod, is an important commercial fish species native to the northern Pacific Ocean. Its distinct flavor and texture make it one of the most sought-after fish on the market. Sablefish have an omega-3 fatty acid content higher than any other commonly consumed finfish, making it a healthful dietary option. They are also a popular choice for sushi, grilled, steamed, poached and baked dishes. Sablefish has a mild, buttery flavor that pairs well with a variety of seasonings, sauces and sides.
