Probiotics Aquaculture
Probiotics are the beneficial bacteria that are added to the water systems of aquaculture systems in order to improve the overall water quality by reducing the harmful bacteria. They also help regulate the balance of microorganisms for a healthy aquatic environment, as well as providing essential nutrients for healthy fish and other aquatic organisms. Probiotics in aquaculture systems can help reduce mortality rates of fish and other marine animals, improve water clarity, reduce the need for antibiotics, protect biodiversity, and reduce the risk of fish diseases.
