Fishing Technology
Fishing technology is a wide-ranging term used to describe any technology used for angling (sport fishing) and commercial fishing. Fishing technology can include the use of specially designed boats and fishing equipment such as fishing rods and reels. It can also encompass the use of sonar and other electronic equipment to find fish, charting devices to track marine life, predictive systems and environmental sensors to help fishermen adjust to fish behavior changes, and GPS systems to find their way back to land. By using these technologies, fishermen are able to catch fish more efficiently, reduce costs, and improve the sustainability of their practices. Additionally, the use of technologies has helped to reduce the impact of fishing on marine species and their habitats, allowing us to enjoy our seafood without damaging the underwater world.
