Fish Pathology
Fish pathology is a scientific discipline which studies the diseases and agents that cause disease in fish, as well as the effects of these diseases on the health and fitness of aquatic organisms. Its importance lies in the fact that it is essential for maintaining the health of aquatic species and the quality of aquatic ecosystems. Fish pathology is also used to identify the etiology of fish diseases and guide treatments to improve fish health. It also helps to develop strategies for improving the overall health of aquaculture environments. Additionally, it can provide valuable insights into the management of wild fish populations in order to mitigate the impacts of disease and reduce the effects of overfishing.
