Aquatic Biology
Aquatic Biology is the scientific study of plants, animals and other organisms that inhabit the aquatic environment, both marine and freshwater. It is the study of the biological interactions, behavior and adaptation of aquatic species, as well as the relationship between these species and their environment. Aquatic Biology provides essential information for the management of aquatic resources, such as fish and other aquatic organisms, coral reefs and other habitats, and also contributes to the conservation of biodiversity. The knowledge acquired from Aquatic Biology is key to understanding and managing the health of aquatic ecosystems and provides useful insights for the sustainable use of marine resources for recreational and commercial purposes.
