Taxonomy

Taxonomy is a branch of biology that deals with the classification and naming of organisms. It is essential for understanding evolutionary relationships and the origin of species, and is also used to classify and identify new species. Taxonomy is also important in medicine, ecology and agriculture, as it allows scientists to better understand and manage genetic resources. Taxonomy helps to organize scientific data, providing an efficient way to search for species and to track biodiversity changes. It is also used to provide a framework for developing conservation strategies, such as identifying endangered species.
