Proteomics

Proteomics is the study of proteins, the building blocks of life, to understand the structure, function and interactions of these molecules in biological systems. It is a field of research that has the potential to provide insights into disease, health, the environment and drug design. Proteomics can be used to identify and quantify specific proteins, and to study the relationships between proteins and other molecules in a given biological system. By understanding the intricate relationships between proteins, proteomics has the potential to lead to new therapies, diagnostic tools, and improve our understanding of biological processes.
