Isoniazid

Isoniazid is an antibiotic drug which is used to treat tuberculosis, a dangerous and potentially fatal bacterial infection. It works by stopping the growth and spread of the bacteria. Isoniazid is also known to prevent relapse of active TB, reduce the risk of developing TB in people exposed to the bacteria, and prevent the spread of infection to others. It is an incredibly important medication, as it can be effective in treating the disease and preventing its recurrence.
