General Inhalational Anesthesia

General Inhalational Anesthesia is a type of anesthesia delivered through the airway to induce unconsciousness and provide pain relief during medical and surgical procedures. Anesthetic gases, such as nitrous oxide and sevoflurane, are breathed in by the patient through a face mask or breathing tubes. This form of anesthesia has been used for over 100 years and is known for its safety and effectiveness. It is typically used for general, orthopedic, and dental procedures. Benefits of general inhalational anesthesia include providing a rapid onset of action and allowing patients to wake up more quickly than other forms of anesthesia. The use of general inhalational anesthesia helps ensure patient comfort and safety during medical and surgical procedures.
