Anesthesia Side Effects
Anesthesia affects individuals in different ways, but some common side effects can include drowsiness, nausea, sore throat, and shivering. The majority of these symptoms will disappear within a few hours of the procedure. However, more severe side effects such as confusion, agitation, and impaired motor function can occur in a small number of cases. It is important to discuss any prior medical history, allergies, or sensitivities with a medical professional before undergoing anesthesia in order to reduce the risk of complications. Anesthesia is a vital component of many medical procedures, from routine surgeries to emergency traumas, as it can provide both pain relief and protective measures for the patient.
