Tosylphenylalanyl Chloromethyl Ketone
Tosylphenylalanyl Chloromethyl Ketone is an organic compound used as an important intermediate in peptide synthesis. It is an important building block in organic chemistry for the synthesis of advanced molecules, particularly proteins. It is commonly used as an activator for various chemical reactions of amines, especially in the field of peptide synthesis. Because of its stability, it can be used as a coupling agent for peptide synthesis and is often used in the construction of peptide libraries. Its use in the synthesis of cyclic peptides has also been explored. The use of Tosylphenylalanyl Chloromethyl Ketone as an activator or as a coupling agent has been shown to increase the efficiency of peptide synthesis.
