Pulmonary Edema
Pulmonary edema is a medical condition in which fluid builds up in the air sacs of the lungs, making it difficult to breathe. It can be caused by a variety of factors, such as congestive heart failure, high blood pressure, or trauma. Symptoms typically include difficulty breathing, chest pain, and coughing up blood or bloody fluid. Treatment typically involves medications to reduce fluid buildup, as well as oxygen and positive airway pressure therapy. Pulmonary edema can be life-threatening if left untreated, and it is important to recognize the signs and seek prompt medical care.
