Pollen Season
Pollen season is the time of year when certain plants, trees, and flowers produce and release their pollen. During this time, the air is filled with microscopic plant particles which can cause allergies in humans. Pollen season usually occurs at different times in different regions, according to temperature and humidity. For example, in areas with warmer climates, pollen season starts in February and lasts until June. In areas with colder climates, pollen season usually begins in late April and may last until late August. Pollen season is an important part of nature's cycle, enabling flowers and plants to reproduce, build biodiversity, and create the ecosystems we rely on for food, oxygen, and water. Pollen season also affects our daily lives, causing allergies and other respiratory problems due to its presence in the air. Taking steps to reduce exposure to pollen, such as wearing a mask outdoors, can help reduce the effects of pollen season.
