Lupus

Lupus is an autoimmune disorder, in which the body’s own immune system attacks its tissues and organs. This can cause a wide range of symptoms, including fatigue, joint pain and swelling, skin rashes, fever, and hair loss. Lupus is a chronic, long-term condition and can be difficult to diagnose, as its symptoms can mimic those of other diseases. Treatment for lupus generally involves medications that help to suppress the immune system and reduce inflammation. Early diagnosis and treatment can significantly improve quality of life for those living with lupus.
