Interactions

between proteins Proteins are the building blocks of living organisms, and interactions between proteins are critical for many cellular activities within the body. These interactions can involve proteins directly associating with each other, or with other biomolecules such as DNA or small molecules. By understanding how proteins interact with each other, scientists can gain insight into the many roles proteins play in the functioning of cells and organisms. This knowledge can be used to develop treatments for diseases, create new drugs and therapeutic strategies, and gain a better understanding of basic biology.
