Eosinophils are a type of white blood cell that plays an important role in the body’s immune response. They are typically found in the blood, lymph nodes, and spleen, and are responsible for attacking parasites and other foreign substances, as well as responding to allergic reactions. Eosinophils are also known to play a role in the severity and persistence of asthma, eczema, and certain types of inflammatory diseases. By understanding the role of eosinophils, treatments and therapies can be developed to better manage these conditions.
