Bronchial Asthma

Bronchial Asthma is a chronic, inflammatory lung disease that affects the airways of the lungs and makes it difficult to breathe. The most common symptoms of asthma are wheezing, coughing, shortness of breath, and chest tightness. People with asthma may also experience fatigue, anxiety and a decrease in their quality of life. Asthma is a common health condition, affecting over 300 million people worldwide, and is the leading cause of emergency department visits and hospitalizations for children. Treatment for asthma usually involves medications, lifestyle changes, and environmental changes to reduce exposure to triggers that can cause an asthma attack. Proper treatment can help people with asthma live full and active lives.
